The Care Adviser Network was formed in 2011 and registered as a Limited (by Guarantee) company with a Social Enterprise statement in Sept 2015.

We are a Learning and Development provider, endorsed by Skills For Care and aim to:

  • Promote a standard to adult care and care funding advice

  • Join care advisers with other specialist professionals

  • Improve access to quality assured care advice and services



  • Training and Online Learning

  • Care and Benefit Advice

  • Care Navigator Reports

If you prefer to make your own way through your care journey we hope the Care Guides will be useful but if you have questions and would like some training, advice or help to find good care please get in touch.

Care Navigators

CAN Members provide a wide range of support services including experts who can help you choose, arrange and plan for care and support.  All are subject experts, in England and are dedicated to later life care.

Expert Care and Benefits advisers, our training is endorsed by Skills for Care and members are required to achieve a Care Advice Standard before being listed on the Care Adviser Register


Arranging care for a loved one without any time or previous experience of the care and benefit system can be overwhelming. Find a service on our register that can help you:
